A woman identified as Alice Mulak has been arrested by Homicide detectives attached to Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested Alice Mulak for stabbing her lover to death during a quarrel.
According to the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr Ramhan Nansel, a police team from Mararaba ‘A’ Division in Nasarawa State led by a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Mr Musa Babayola, arrested Mulak.
The PPRO stated that the woman stabbed her lover with a knife.
Nansel said: “Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident happened behind City Rock Hotel, Mararaba at about 3:30 PM when the deceased and his girlfriend engaged themselves in fisticuffs as a result of a misunderstanding. The suspect was arrested and the knife used in perpetrating the offence was consequently recovered based on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi. The suspect has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Lafia for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.”
