Other members are Mr. Opeyemi Owasonoye, Mr. Adetola Adeniran, and Mrs Sanni Olashile.

The election had most of its Congress members in attendance as each contestant gave their manifestos to present what they had to offer.

The elected executives are President, Uzoma Chukwuka, Vice President, Ogunleye Adebola, General Secretary, Onaivi Umene and Financial Secretary, Okolo Francisca.

Meanwhile, the office of the PRO, Social Director and Assistant Secretary will later be contested via a by-election.

Mr. Uzoma Chukwuka is the fifth president of IDBAL, who has an unblemished record. Members believe in him and his newly elected officers, that was what made him have the day.

In his acceptance speech, he craved for unity without bias of tribalism, sentiment, nepotism and corruption but unity and love for members and their communities.

His executive has set the ball rolling by making sure the welfare of members and fur friends is considered with priority.

Vaccination of dogs and making sure the IDBAL 2.0 exhibition comes to fruition.

The exhibition is the hallmark of the association, which past executives neglected after idbal 1.0, but Chukwuka has promised to revive it by making it a tradition which it truly is.

The Board of Trustees (BOT) present are Mr. Gbenga Aderibigbe (Chairman), Mr. Toni Udeocha, Mrs Aruba Mabel and Bishop Olowe.

The BOT Chairman, who served as the pioneer president, unveiled the new executive while Mr. Azeez Adebayo alias Starboard gave advice and asked the new officers to be up and doing without losing focus.

Members are happy to see the election come to fruition despite all odds and calculated attempts by unwarranted forces.
