The new Commissioner of Police (CP) in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Wale Ajao has pledged to entrench Intelligence led and Quality policing in the seat of power.
Ajao spoke while taking over office from his predecessor, AIG Tunji Disu today at the FCT Police Command headquarters.
According to him, the command will not reduce the bar of excellent service bequeathed by the immediate past CP.
He told his outgoing boss: “On behalf of the command, I want to assure you that we will not disappoint you. For the officers and men, I promise them Quality leadership, for residents of the FCT, I promise them to impact policing, intelligence-led policing.”
According to AIG Disu, “The command has been handed over to you Commissioner of Police, I have spoken to members of the management team, they have given me their word that they are going to cooperate with you.”
