I’m going to be the next journalist that would liberate the world

Journalism isn’t just a profession; it’s a way of life for me! It’s not just a job, it’s a dream. It’s a dream I would live and die for.

Being a journalist is one thing I have always longed and dreamt of. I have heard of the likes of Dele Giwa and journalists, who selflessly and courageously carried out their duties. They were my inspiration. I hope that soon, I would step into their shoes.

I really don’t mind the leg work and stress involved in journalism. I must achieve that my dream of becoming a journalist.

I want to get to every heart of the world through my stories and hope to inspire every kid out there.

You’re probably wondering why I so much want to be a journalist.

I have to realize that information is vital. Most individuals out there see information as just a way of passing out message or getting others informed; but to me, information is as vital, crucial, imperative and indispensable as the air we breathe.

A day without information is a day wasted. Sadly today, the information we get are either diluted or polluted. I want to be a journalist so as to get to the very heart of the world and get the real story. I want people out there, regardless of their ages, background, race, country, and sex to become informed so they wouldn’t be deformed.

Passion: Jon Jon Jovi, an American singer and songwriter once said and I quote, “Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate.”

While some have dreamt to be the next biggest rock star, actor, my dream and passion are different from theirs. I just simply want to be the next journalist, who would liberate the world through information.

I want to give a voice to people that feel they have no voice. Journalism these days is about informing and reporting.

I want to bring a positive change by lending the voiceless a voice to speak about issues affecting them and contribute their quota to making the world a safer and better place.
