#IWD: The Need For Gender Justice

Feminists tend to have a warped understanding of Gender-Based Violence. Gender means male or female. Feminists however dwell in a narrow cave of conceivement of preconceived notions and sometimes, the concealment of the truth.

It is not every allegation of a woman against a man that is true. It does not become true just because it is a woman who made the allegation. The woman has to provide evidence and until then taking sides with the woman without evidence, is tantamount to gender injustice or gender-based gang-up.

Feminists must know that it takes two to tango. Women can not exist without the presence of men. The facade of it is we are against them, is a false heresy. Men advance feminist ideas and can push the narrative even further.

I am however appealed by feminist hypocrisy in Nigeria. They use any case whether true or false to gain unnecessary mileage. We are not unaware that sometimes, it is all about the foreign aid they will get from international donor agencies or bodies.

Another strand of feminist hypocrisy is always using feminism as a tool for elitist battles. They hardly use feminism to fight for the young ones. A young girl growing up is likely going to have more problems with a female boss than a male boss.

Those Feminists in positions should ask themselves how many females are they mentoring to take over from them when they leave the stage. What we find is women against women.

The young ones break out of the feminist yoke to make headway in life The feminist goddesses hold the system the same way that an octopus holds a victim .

No Feminist stood up for the young Nigerian Female Soldier, who alleged that she was violated severally by her superiors. It was males who took up her story, but in the end, nothing came out of the story.

No Feminist stood up for Miss Favour, the Nigerian Sprinter, who was not registered for the 100 Metre Event of the Olympics at the Paris Olympics in 2024, by some officials of the Nigerian Olympics Committee.

Nofeministst stands up for the many young Nigerian girls who are out of school or roaming the streets looking for jobs. Even at elections at the Student Union Level, in Universities  Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, the female contestants are like orphans, fighting male domination .

Have you ever seen Feminists putting young girls in the forefront of their activities, even on the International Day of the Girl Child or International Women’s Day? It took the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Right Honourable Tajudeen Abbas to make a young 16-year-old Old Girl a Speaker Pro Tempore to celebrate and protect the girl child on the international day of the girl child, Which is a very good idea. We had female speakers in Nigeria at that time, but none did the same. Even the Ministry of Women’s Affairs should be changed to the Ministry of Gender Development. Maybe, we should create a Ministry of Men’s Affairs.

When a woman assaults a man, Feminists keep quiet or sweep it under the carpet It is Gender-based violence and not women-based violence. They do not call their women that err against men to order.

We need Gender Justice and not elective gender advocacy . After all, we are first humans before we acquire a gender Women who assault men should be brought to book . feminism is not a license to support those who oppress me with lies and blackmail or should I say “black female”

There is no structured mentorship programme for young girls by the Feminists. Among law students in the faculties of law in Nigeria, I encouraged mentorship and internship of young male and female students with lawyers. That is what feminists should do. What stops FIDA from having a FIDA Internship Programme or NAWOJ from having a NAWOJ Internship Programme?

Young Females most times get promoted by men as older females see them as a threat.

Feminists want a constitutional cure for their problems. Men are indeed under the domination of women in the other room.
