Governor Uba Sani has visited the Kurmin Wali community in Kajuru Local Government Area following the abduction of residents on Sunday.
The governor’s visit was aimed at empathising with the affected families and reassuring them of the state government’s commitment to securing the release of the abducted citizens.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Sani declared, “Our administration maintains zero tolerance for all forms of insecurity. We are determined to restore peace and safety across Kaduna State. The rescue of our abducted citizens is a top priority, and we will not relent until they are safely reunited with their families.”
The governor’s presence was welcomed by community members, though concerns remain about the urgency of the rescue mission.
Ambassador Olalekan Oyedeji, reacting to the development, expressed cautious optimism: “We are grateful for the governor’s visit and pledge, but the priority must be swift and safe rescue of the abducted citizens. Kaduna’s communities deserve lasting security, not just words.”
