In a bold move aimed at eradicating cult-related violence and criminal activity across the state, the Lagos State Police Command has announced the deployment of specialised Anti-Cultism Squads to every Area Command within its jurisdiction.
These squads, equipped and trained for rapid response operations, will focus on:
- Conducting targeted surveillance of cultist strongholds
- Responding swiftly to distress calls from the public
- Arresting individuals involved in cultism
- Partnering with communities to break up cult networks and restore peace
