The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin said that the Police have arrested 74-year-old Aderinsola Addiths over the alleged defilement of a 13-year-old girl.
The spokesman said that the incident was reported on the 13th of March 2025 at Iju Division by the victim’s father.
Hundeyin said: “The father reported at Iju Division that his 13-year-old daughter reported to him that one Aderinsola Addiths, 74, allegedly defiled her in his room on 12th of March 2025, based on the report a team of detectives visited the scene the survivor was taken to the hospital for examination and treatment while the suspect was immediately arrested and detained in police custody investigation in progress.”
