Man in police custody for sexually assaulting 9 yrs old in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 46 years old Mr. Musa for allegedly sexually assaulting a nine years old girl in an uncompleted building in the Iba-Ojo area of the state.

The alleged perpetrator was arrested by detectives from the Iba Police Station.

The child’s mom, Chidinma,  said that she travelled, returned to discover the violation of her child. When she confronted Musa, he said that he only, “rubbed the child.”

She said: “I travelled and came back on Saturday night. I went to bed; I woke up around 2:am to urinate and noticed that my daughter was stark naked. She had never slept naked before. I knew something was wrong. I asked her why she didn’t wear pant, she said nothing. On Sunday, she also went to bed without wearing her pant. Yesterday, I called her and held a cane and asked why she suddenly started going to bed without wearing her pant.

“She said that it was Daddy John that took her to an uncompleted building behind our house, removed his trousers and her pant, and then had sexual intercourse with her.

“I had to call the man’s wife and told her what my daughter said of her husband, she asked me to wait until her husband returns. When the man returned, I confronted him. He claimed that he only held her and rubbed her. I asked him what happened to her private part, I have never seen this kind of thing before in my life.

“Police at Iba Police Station has given us paper to go to Ikeja tomorrow (today) for a medical examination of my daughter.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin has confirmed the arrest of the alleged perpetrator.
