Man With 3 Wives, 8 Children Allegedly Lures Minor With Food, N500, Defiles Her

-

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command today, Monday, 17th February 2025, paraded 56-year-old Mr Wasiu Agbaraojo, suspected to have forcefully had carnal knowledge of a 12-year-old  minor.

The Magbon Divisional office of the Lagos State Command obtained a tip-off from a female friend of the victim, who happened to be an eyewitness to the incident.

The eyewitness told officials of NSCDC that she saw Agbaraojo defiling the victim by peeping through his window. According to her, she suspected something was wrong and decided to peep through the window.

She further disclosed to the investigation team that Agbaraojo lured the victim into his room with cooked rice and a promised monetary gift of N500.

She said that the alleged perpetrator also threatened the minor not to tell her parents, but her grandma later found out about the defilement on Tuesday, 11th February 2025.

The NSCDC, Lagos State Command, arrested the suspect immediately after receiving a complaint from the grandma in Magbon, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.

Further investigation into the matter has also revealed that Agbaraojo is married to three wives and has eight children. The last child is just a year old.

The NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, has ordered that the matter be thoroughly investigated and the culprit brought to book.

He warned unscrupulous elements who prey on underaged girls to desist or face the wrath of the law.
