#NDLEA condoles NAF over Ondo aircraft crash

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic aircraft crash in Ondo State, which claimed the lives of personnel of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and some others.

In a letter of condolence addressed to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), conveyed the Agency’s heartfelt sympathies to the Air Force leadership, officers, men and women and the families of the fallen heroes.

Marwa described the news of the crash as devastating, noting that it was received with profound grief. He praised the Nigerian Air Force for consistently demonstrating exceptional patriotism, gallantry and unwavering commitment to the defence and security of the nation.

According to him, the loss of officers who dedicated their lives to national service is a terrible blow, not only to the Air Force but to the entire country and the national security community.

“In this moment of deep sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families of the fallen heroes, as well as the entire NAF family,” the NDLEA boss said, praying that Almighty God would comfort their loved ones, strengthen the Nigerian Air Force, and grant the departed eternal rest.

He also assured the Air Force of the Agency’s warm regards and solidarity of all officers, men and women of NDLEA during this difficult period.
