Speaking at the event, Olayiwola said: “ I have enjoyed the privileges of the association. I promise that benefits will be cascaded to members. I hereby promise members that the security of the paw friend (dog) will be guaranteed whereby member dogs will be traceable by microchipping them in case they stray. They’ll be traced and reunited with the family.”

He further stated, “Sensitisation and seminars are also part of my plan, which members will benefit from, and these will improve members’ Standard of Operating Procedure (SOP).  It will also make IDBAL members more professional in canine management holistically.”

He further explained that dogs serve as security for not just their owners, but also neighbours because the fear of the unknown will make intruders abort their evil missions.

He noted that dogs were psychotherapy in nature and make a man keep going without being depressed.

A board member of IDBAL, Rotarian Tony Udocha, attested to the success of the election. This was even as he appreciated the past executives for their input in building the association.

He encouraged the new executives to bring aggrieved members back on board so that the big and happy family can grow stronger.

He implored the new President not to be rigid with ideas and to scale up human management and better relationship with members.
