Nigeria Police Academy Opens New Sports Viewing Centre, To Enhance Cadets Welfare

-

An important step toward the comprehensive development of cadets has been taken with the official opening of a Sports Viewing Centre on the Academy grounds by AIG Patrick A. Atayero, commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy.

This new facility complements the recently opened Scrabble and Chess Centre and the basketball and volleyball grounds, demonstrating the Commandant’s unwavering commitment to fostering the physical and mental well-being of cadets.

The Sports Viewing Centre is equipped with modern amenities, providing cadets and staff with a conducive environment to unwind, build camaraderie, and stay abreast of global sporting events. Such initiatives are pivotal in promoting unity, morale, and a balanced lifestyle within the Academy.

The commissioning ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including senior police officers, sports development partners, and members of the Academy’s management team. The event underscores the Academy’s dedication to producing well-rounded officers equipped to meet the multifaceted demands of modern policing.
