NOPRIN commiserates with Police on death of two officers

The Network on Police Reform (NOPRIN) has commiserated with the Nigeria Police Force for the death of two officers while repelling attackers whose intent was to destabilize the security outfit in the Area.

The National Coordinator of NOPRIN, Mr. Emmanuel Ikule, said: “We commiserate with the Nigeria Police Force and the families of the late SP Kazeem Raheem, the Maru Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and late Rabi’u Umar, a Police Inspector attached to the division who lost their lives in the cause of Protecting the citizens of Nigeria.

“We use this medium to reassure the Nigeria Police Force of NOPRIN’s commitment in being a dependable ally and partner in building an international standard Police Service.

“Furthermore, we call on the public to continue to support and cooperate with the Nigeria Police Force as they carry out their mandate which includes to “Make Nigeria safer and more secure for economic development and growth…”
