NPF Academy’s Commandant Pays Courtesy Visit To Minister Of Police  Affairs

The commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, paid the Honourable Minister of Police Affairs, His Excellency, Senator Ibrahim Geidam, a courtesy call today at his Abuja office.

The Minister’s visit was appropriate given his position as Chairman of the Nigeria Police Academy’s Governing Council.

 

The Honourable Minister welcomed the Commandant with open arms during the meeting and wished him luck on his mission. He emphasised the value of teamwork in accomplishing the Academy’s goals and promised his unwavering and ongoing support.

 

*DIG Sadiq Abubakar*, the immediate past Commandant of the Academy, was also in attendance at the meeting, demonstrating the academy’s dedication to excellence in police education and training.

 

The meeting’s main goal was to improve cooperation between the Ministry and the Academy, with a particular emphasis on how crucial it is to match POLAC’s training initiatives with current policing issues and national security goals.

 

This visit demonstrates the Nigeria Police Academy’s and the Ministry of Police Affairs’ close institutional collaboration in the joint endeavor to improve police training and professional standards in Nigeria.
