Police recover 247 wraps of illicit drugs from teenage girl

A 19 years old girl, identified as Confidence Ugochukwu, was among three people arrested in possession of 247 wraps of illicit drugs in Delta State.

According to the Delta State Police Command, Ugochukwu was arrested alongside Izuagbe Theophilus, 20,  Okofu Henry, 22. They were arrested when police raided a suspected criminal hideout at Azugwu street, Umuonicha quarters in Ogwuash-Uku.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bright Edafe, explained that on April 26th, at 5:40 PM, said that the Command’s Crack Squad while acting on information, raided a suspected criminal hideout at Azugwu Street, Umuonicha quarters in Ogwuash-Uku, and arrested the three suspects.

Edafe said that exhibits recovered from them include, 147 wraps of dry weeds suspected to be loud, 47 wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine, seven wraps of Colorado, and 44 wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
