PSC Chairman Greets Nigerians At Eid-el-Maulud, Calld For Peace, Unity

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu has called on Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad to pray for the unity and oneness of the Nigerian nation.

DIG Argungu said the occasion calls for renewal of our faith in our nation, for tolerance, sacrifice and manifest patriotism adding that as citizens we must support our leaders and promote the ideals that unite the nation.

The PSC Chairman noted that ” on this auspicious day, may our faith in Allah grow stronger in our hearts and let us be filled with gratitude. ” let’s remember that the Prophet’s life is a source of guidance for us”.

DIG Argungu extended his warm wishes for a blessed EID-ul Maulud celebration and prayed “May your heart be filled with faith and love”

He called on the Muslim faithful in the Commission to remember the Prophets’ teachings of love, peace, kindness and tolerance and prayed that the grace of His birth should illuminate their lives.
