PSC, CIoD Forge Alliance To Drive Good Governance In Public Sector

-

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has pledged to deepen Corporate Governance and leadership excellence following a courtesy visit by the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) Nigeria.

The PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (Rtd), received a CIoD delegation led by its Second Vice President, Alhaji Lamis S. Dikko, F.CIoD, at the Solomon Arase Conference Hall, PSC Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening institutional ties, advancing transparency and accountability, and exploring collaboration in governance advocacy and capacity development.
DIG Argungu noted that CIoD’s objectives align with the Commission’s commitment to moving beyond old civil service practices toward corporate good governance.
He promised a robust partnership, particularly in training the Commission’s executive and non-executive directors with the skills needed for optimal performance.
“We look forward to a continuous and better working relationship,” the Chairman assured.
