Series #94: How Road Users Should Behave at Checkpoints

-

Security checkpoints are an important part of maintaining public safety. They help security agencies detect criminal activities, recover stolen items, enforce traffic regulations, and protect lives.

Every road user has a responsibility to cooperate with officers carrying out these lawful duties.

As you approach a checkpoint, reduce your speed, follow instructions, and remain calm and respectful. Avoid sudden movements, arguments, or attempts to bypass the checkpoint. Keep your vehicle documents and means of identification readily available when requested, and allow officers to carry out their duties professionally.

A security-conscious individual understands that cooperation with law enforcement at checkpoints contributes to safer roads and a more secure society.

Quote: Respecting security checkpoints and cooperating with officers help strengthen public safety and reduce crime.

Just be good. Reflect. Stay alert.
