#SeunKuti:  Promotion of assaulted policeman will encourage others to be professional

-

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command spokesman, DSC Oluwaseun Abolurin, has applauded the calmness and professionalism displayed by the policeman attacked by Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, calling for the promotion of the officer.

According to him, if the policeman is promoted, it will encourage other uniform personnel members to be professional in their dealings.

His words: “If other policemen or personnel from other services see that this scenario leads to the policeman’s upliftment in the service, they will better be encouraged to professionally, keep the image of the force and their services, regardless, of such hazards or more that they may face in the nearest future.”

Abolurin, who commended the policeman for, “emotional and psychological intelligence and recommend his upliftment after this individual sacrifice, to show the world the kind of deep and great training the NPF has instilled in him.”

He stressed that Seun Kuti had no right to take laws into his hands, no matter what must have been the mystic situation, if any, because the world saw an armless policeman being harassed in the viral videos purveyed, so far on social media till date.
