A suspected kidnapper, Nwenze Oliver, has narrated how he and his gang members orchestrated the abduction of a Reverend Father in Anambra State.
In a viral video, Oliver, singing like a canary, said: “My name is Oliver, I am 36 years old. I mason, I came to Anambra State in 2012.
“I was recently arrested by the police because I was involved in a case of kidnapping. I kidnapped a Reverend Father; I do not know his name.
“My boys and I kidnapped him. Sixteen gang members hid in the bush, but among them, I was the boss. I came back and saw the Reverend Father in the office.
“But I didn’t go on the operation with them. When I asked them, they said that they ran into him on their way and had to kidnap him.
“After everything, they went and dropped him. They told me that they had collected millions.
“ I cannot recall how long we stayed in the bush because I stayed in the community, but if there’s any information about movement around, we will pull out immediately and move around.”
