The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Mr. Adekunle Ajisebutu, noted that as soon as the report got to the police, investigation into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the lady was immediately initiated.

He added: “To ensure a speedy and diligent investigation, the CP immediately directed the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department (SCIID), Panti, to take over the case. In the course of the ongoing investigation and two suspects have been arrested and are currently helping in our investigation.
