Two terrorists on Police Wanted List located, arrested

Police have arrested two terrorists, believed to be part of the members that had been terrorising Faskari Local Government Area and its environs in Katsina State.

According to the command’s image maker, Gambo Isah, the two suspects had been on Police Wanted List for long.

He noted that on February 3, at 2: am, the Command succeeded in arresting Abdulrazak Salisu, 32,  and Yahaya Lawal, 35, both of Faskari LGA of the state. Isah described them as “notorious members of terrorists-bandits, terrorizing Faskari and its environs.”  

He added: “The suspects have been on the Wanted List of the Police.  They were wanted in connection with the attack of August 5, 2021, of the House of Bala Hussaini, 50, Faskari LGA, in which after committing armed robbery, the hoodlums kidnapped Hussaini’s three children and held onto them until the sum of N1,900,000 ransom was paid.  In the course of investigation, the suspects confessed to the commission of the offence together with following suspects now at large; Musa Mai-AK, Idi Gide, Badaru Murnai, Badaru Ibrahim, Habu Haro, Ali Danbarno and Ibrahim alias ‘Baba-Iro.’  The suspects confessed to belonging to the gang of notorious terrorist-bandit Dankarami alias GWASKA terrorising Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto states, while hibernating in the forest.”  at February 19, 2022 Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest
