NEMA receives new batch of 143 stranded Nigerians from Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Nigeria, today received a new batch of 143 stranded Nigerian Returnees from Libya.

The returnees were received by the Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Habib Ahmed, who represented the Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of the Agency.

The returnees were brought back to Nigeria through the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja.

The flight with Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800 registration number 5A – DMG. The flight arrived at 3: 18 PM.

The profile of returnees are 96 adult males, boys are eight, and one male toddler. There are also 36 adult females, one girl, and one female toddler. These included a female and male adult with serious medical issues.
