Mother Of Missing Boy Cries Out To President Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, IGP, Lagos CP

A distraught mother, Mrs Adesola Iyomaterie, in a viral video has begged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Moshood Jimoh, to help find her missing son, Ovie Kehinde Iyomaterie.

 

In the video, who was weeping explained that her son, Obeyekendi Iyomaterie, had gone missing since the 13th of May 2025.

 

She recounted: “My name is Adesola Iyomateri Nishokunbe.  My son, Obeyekendi Iyomateri, has been missing since the 13th of May.

“We have gone to so many places to search for him, and we know that it has not been like this. He has never behaved this way. He can never go a day without calling.

 

“And this is the 25th day now, he has not called. He has not moved this way; this is so strange. We have gone to the police, we have made reports, we’ve carried out searches.

“We have gone to police stations,  all over as we were instructed. We have gone to the prisons, we have gone to the hospitals. Now, I don’t know what has happened to him.

“So I’m begging Nigerians, I’m pleading with the Nigerian Police, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, the Lagos State PPRO, Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, Mr. Benjamin Hundeyin, please, I’m begging you people, help me to search for my son.

“I’m calling on Governor Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, our dear president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his son, Seyi Tinubu, please help me. He is my only son.

“I’ve been searching for my son for the past 25 days to no avail. I’ve been searching, please help me. I beg you, Nigerians, help me to search for this boy.”
