The Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) in Lagos witnessed a significant ceremony today as the Commissioner of Police, CP Rose Chollom Dung, mspsp, decorated four of the Unit’s Team Managers with the new rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).

This promotion follows their recent elevation by the Police Service Commission.

During the decoration ceremony, CP Dung extended her hearty congratulations to the newly promoted officers. She specifically commended their dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service to the Nigeria Police Force.

The Commissioner stressed that the new rank is a direct call to higher responsibility and greater commitment to the core values of integrity, discipline, and service to the nation.

“Promotion in the Force is not merely a reward for past achievements but an opportunity to contribute more meaningfully to the Unit’s operational excellence,” CP Dung stated.

She further urged the officers to hold their new ranks in high esteem and continue to demonstrate exemplary leadership in the discharge of their duties, aligning their efforts with the overall vision of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun,  for a more professional and service-oriented Police Force.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, CSP Eyitayo Johnson Olaiya expressed profound gratitude to CP Dung for her exemplary leadership and unwavering support.

CSP Olaiya reassured the Commissioner of their continued dedication to duty. He affirmed their commitment to serving the nation with integrity, professionalism, and loyalty to the ideals of the Nigeria Police Force.
