EFCC Boss, Olukoyede, Lifts Business Day’s  Public Service Award

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  Mr.Ola Olukoyede, was,  on Wednesday, December 4, 2025, honoured with  a  Public Service Award at the  Business Day’s Newspaper’s  Excellence Award 2025

The 7th edition of the Lecture Series and Award,  themed “Shaping Nigeria`s Economic Future: Navigating Challenges, Unlocking Opportunities”,  was dedicated to recognising contributions of exceptional Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs,  driving the implementation of government policies and programs.

The Newspaper’s  Publisher and organiser, Frank Aigbogun, congratulated all the awardees, stating that  “there is no higher calling in terms of a career than public service, which is a chance to make a difference in people’s lives and improve the world.  Given the current critical challenges the country is facing, there is no doubt that this year`s ceremony is apt.  Service to others is the rent we pay for our rooms here on earth”

 Olukoyede lifted the Excellence in Public Service Award in an impressive ceremony that featured dignitaries like former President Goodluck Jonathan, represented by former Senate President,  Pius Anyim Pius,  Minister of Information and National Orientation,  Mohammed Idris Malagi,  Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, among others.  He was represented by the Director, Public Affairs,  Commander of the EFCC,  CE Wilson Uwujaren, at the ceremony.
