Many people are feared to have been killed today evening following an attack on the convoy of the controversial pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, pastor of Omega Fire Ministries.

The number of those killed is yet unknown, but report says most were police personnel aides attached to the pastor. An initial report also said at least five police escorts and a lady were shot and died at the spot.

It was also alleged that one of the kidnappers was caught.

It was further gathered that the gunmen were kidnappers and the convoy was attacked at Wareke Road, Auchi, Edo State. The gunmen first shot sporadically at the tyres of some of the vehicles in the convoy, breaking the file.

Suleiman was said to have escaped in his bulletproof Lexus SUV.
