The Kebbi State Police Command has launched an investigation into the murder of an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) by another ASP in the command.
It was gathered that the deceased Shuaibu Sani Malumfashi was the Divisional Crime Officer 2 (DCO2) of Argungu Police Station in Kebbi Command.
He was said to have been killed by the ASP in charge of Outposts.
Eyewitnesses claimed that for unknown reasons, both ASPs engaged in a heated quarrel, leading to the OC Outpost stabbing the deceased.
Earlier this week, an Inspector shot his fellow Inspector in the Abia State Police Command dead. Both were attached to the lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Abia State House of Assembly, Honourable Ginger Onwusibe.
