Grief, Fear as Suspected Terrorists Kill 74 in Sokoto Villages

The death toll from Wednesday’s attack by gunmen on three villages in Sokoto State has risen to 74, according to SaharaReporters.
In Garki Village, 25 people were killed, while 13 lives were lost in Dan Aduwa Village. The assailants also struck Kutama Village, where six people were killed, and one person was abducted.
The coordinated assault has left families shattered and communities in mourning, with residents describing the attacks as devastating and terrifying. Local authorities have yet to issue an official statement, but security concerns in the region remain heightened as investigations continue.
