In this yuletide season, there are usually a lot of vehicular movements, to and from different states. Many of these movements are usually travellers and most times, accidents do happen simply because motorists fail to adhere to simple traffic laws and personal safety codes.

* Don’t Drink and Drive

 

*Take off Early If You Are Traveling

 

*Make Sure You Check your Oil

 

*Don’t Overload Your Vehicle

 

*Don’t Carry Fuel in the Vehicle. It’s Harmattan Period

 

*Don’t Travel Using Second Hand Tyres

 

*Don’t Travel Using Expired Drivers License or Vehicle Papers

 

*Don’t Drive a Defect Vehicle or Mechanically Faulty

 

*Drive at Recommended Speed.

*Over Speed is Dangerous

 

*Obey all Traffic Rules.

 

*Overtake Only When You’re Sure The Road Is Clear For You.

*Wrongful  Overtaking is Dangerous

 

*When Tired, Stop at a Safe Place and Rest.

 

*Don’t Travel at Night. Medical Personnel is Difficult to Assess.

 

*Wear Seat Belt Always While Driving.

 

*Avoid Drowsiness. Don’t Sleep on the Steering Wheel.

 

*Traveling With Children, Put Them in the Back Seat

 

*Ask Questions When Not Sure of the Route from Uniform Personnel

 

*Plan The Journey. Driving Requires Undivided Attention

 

*Don’t Make Death So Cheap, Drive To Arrive Alive*
