The Lagos State Police Command has announced that it has commenced an investigation into a video currently circulating online.
Police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi confirmed that the Command is aware of the footage and has taken immediate steps to probe the matter.
According to the statement, individuals featured in the video have been directed to report to the office of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, on Monday at 11:00 a.m.. Their presence is expected to assist investigators and provide necessary clarifications.
The Command further appealed to members of the public to remain calm and avoid drawing premature conclusions or spreading unverified information until the investigation is concluded.
