The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips had on Tuesday,17th October 2023, received the POWA Chairperson, Kebbi State Command, Mrs. Osezele Chris Aimionowane and Entourage, who paid him a courtesy visit in his Office, at the State Headquarters, Birnin Kebbi.
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Osezele Chris Aimionowane said, they were at the CP’s Office in order to introduce themselves to him and to solicit his continued support and encouragement for POWA/PWA to succeed in executing their action plan, which will go a long way, in ameliorating the difficulties being experienced by some of their members, Police widows, as well as children of deceased Police Officers in the Command.
She equally appealed to the CP to call on Police Officers to encourage their wives to become members and buy uniforms for them.
Finally, she prayed may the Almighty Allah bless and guide the CP and his management team, and wished them a successful and peaceful stay in Kebbi State Police Command.
Earlier in his welcome address, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips welcomed them to his Office and expressed his happiness for finding time to visit him and his management team.
He assured them of his continued support in all ramifications and advised them to remain united with a view to succeeding in achieving their goals.
The CP who was full of joy, denoted the sum of one hundred thousand naira (#100, 000) to them.
In the same vein, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips also paid a courtesy visit to the Area Controller, Nigeria Customs Service, the Commanding Officer, 1 Battalion, Dukku Barracks and the Commander, Federal Fire Service, all in Birnin Kebbi, where he solicited their support to sustain the already existing cordial working relationship between the Police and their agencies.
In their separate responses, they thanked the CP for visiting them within a short time of his assumption of duty and assured him of their unflinching support and cooperation to ensure a conducive atmosphere for the good people of Kebbi State.
The visit ended hitch-free with fruitful discussions and the presentation of gifts.
