Commander of Amotekun in Ogun state, Brig_Gen A.I Adedigba, rtd, has disclosed that recently, his operatives raided a sex trafficking camp located in the Ifo area of the state, where 16 suspected sex workers were arrested.

Brig_Gen Adedigba, rtd, said that the operatives acted on an intelligence report and stormed the camp, names withheld, where the workers and some of the staff at the camp were arrested. It was gathered that the raid and arrest came on the heels of the allegations that Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun state, is not funding the regional outfit.

The Operations officer said his boss was out on official duties. But the state commander said the corps is maintaining peace and security in the state.
