The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Al Muqeet Group of Companies, a local and international logistics firm, Mr Omolola Olugbokiki, paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, AIG Simeon U. Akpanudom.

During the visit, Mr Olugbokiki reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police Force, citing his family’s close ties with a former police officer.

He emphasised the importance of strengthening operational efficiency through strategic collaboration with the private sector. “We believe that by working hand in hand with the Police, we can enhance service delivery and contribute meaningfully to national security,” he said.

As part of this commitment, he donated Information Technology and Electronic Data Processing (IT/EDP) materials to the FCID Annex to improve digital documentation, administrative processes, and overall operational efficiency within the Department.

He further commended the officers and men of the FCID Annex for their dedication and sustained efforts in combating crime and maintaining security. “Your resilience and professionalism are commendable, and we are proud to support your mission,” Mr Olugbokiki added.

In his response, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police expressed profound appreciation for the thoughtful gesture. “Partnerships between the Police and the private sector play a vital role in advancing modern policing and improving service delivery,” AIG Akpanudom noted.

He praised Mr Olugbokiki and Al Muqeet Group of Companies for their patriotic support and commitment to national development, while encouraging other well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to emulate such gestures in support of the Nigeria Police Force.

The FCID Annex, Lagos, remains committed to fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations aimed at enhancing professionalism, innovation, and effective policing in the country, in line with the mission and vision of the Inspector-General of Police on people-centric policing.
