CP Giwa Visits Enugu AOC, DSS Director, Strengthens Working Ties

 In a bid to enhance collaboration and foster closer working relationships with other security agencies, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, paid a working visit to the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Ground Training Command of the Nigerian Air Force, Enugu, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Ahmed Abdullahi Shinkafi.

 

He also visited the Enugu State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr. Humphrey Ohikuare.

 

During the courtesy and familiarisation visits, CP Giwa emphasised the crucial and complementary roles of the Police, the Nigerian Air Force, and the DSS in achieving national security.

 

He stressed the importance of strengthened collaboration and harmonious working relationships among the agencies.

 

According to him, “We have a common goal to achieve. There should be no room for competition. Let’s operate on the same page and eliminate any form of disharmony.”

 

The AOC, while warmly receiving the CP and his entourage, described the visit as timely. He assured the Commissioner of the Nigerian Air Force Ground Training Command’s unwavering cooperation and commitment to seamless collaboration with the Police.

 

Similarly, the Enugu State DSS Director expressed delight in welcoming the CP to his office and to Enugu State. He assured him of firm support and collaboration, wishing him a successful tenure as the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command.

 

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by members of his management team and staff officers of the Command.
