Delta Police confirms 5 Persons Dead, 6 Injured In Warri Boat Accident

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Superintendent of Police, Bright Edafe, today 26th of November 2024, confirmed that five persons were killed and six others injured in a boat mishap along Bennett Island river in Warri south area of the state.

According to him, at least 19 persons were rescued, while one was still missing.

In a terse statement, the police image manager said: “Five found dead, six persons injured and still receiving treatment, 19 persons rescued, one still missing.”
