The Delta State Police Operatives have intercepted 26 years old Chukwuma Owoh, who was frantically looking for cult members to kill.
He was intercepted on the 5th of August 2022 at about 1:45 P: M, by Police operatives attached to the Quick response squad (QRS). Owoh and his partners were intercepted during a ‘Stop and Search’ duty along Pessu corner in Warri’.
Owoh and his two friends, Ediri Ogendengbe, 32, and Alfred Kess, 38, were intercepted inside a tricycle. Following a search, the police recovered one locally made cut-to-size gun and four live cartridges.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP. Bright Edafe said: “One of the Suspects, Chukwuma Owoh confessed that he bought the gun from one Haruna of Hausa Market Warri and that he was on his way to Pessu in search of some Aiye confraternity cult members that attacked his younger sister. The suspects are currently in custody and investigation is ongoing. CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA PSC while urging officers and men of the Command to sustain the tempo also admonished them to be polite and civil to members of the public while on duty as incivility to members of the public will not be tolerated under his watch.”
