Moving the motion, EFCC’s counsel, Samuel Ugwuegbulan, informed the court that the application was filed to preserve the property pending the conclusion of the investigation by the EFCC.

“My lord, we rely on all the provisions in the affidavit, and we also filed a written address in support of this application, which we seek to adopt as our argument in support of our application, and we urge the court to grant the leave sought on the motion” he said.
In his ruling, Justice Onwuegbuzie ordered the interim forfeiture of the said property at Plot 1, Sabon Gida, Cadastral Zone, Abuja, after carefully examining the affidavit brought by the EFCC. #Securitynewsalert.com
