Father Bolts After Inflicting Injuries On His Two Children

-

A primary school located in the Orile-Agege area of Lagos State has caused the Nigeria Police Force to launch a man-hunt for a father after physically brutalised his 11-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son.

It was gathered that the staff of the school had been horrified after seeing injuries on both children, leading to questioning.

The school immediately instructed the head teacher to go to the nearest police station to complain to the father of the children identified as Kadiri Yusuf aka Alado.

Alado, who got wind of the visit to the police station by the school, disappeared.

The Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, said that the matter was reported on the 18th of October 2024, at about 5:pm.

The police image manager said: “One of her pupils, a female aged 11, reported to her that her father, one Kadiri Yusuf alias Alado, beats her, causing her bodily injury, that he equally beats and injured her elder brother aged 13. Both victims have been retrieved, treated and handed over to their mother’s sister, for safe custody, while the effort to apprehend the fleeing father is in top gear.”
