The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a father, who connived with his doctor to sell his biological child for N400,000 without the knowledge of his wife.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, stated this on his Twitter handle.
He tweeted: “A father connived with his doctor and a nurse, sold his three months old baby to a woman for N400,000 without the knowledge of the mother. After days of searching, the police were informed. All suspects have been arrested. The baby is safe and the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba is to prosecute the suspects.”
