Father of Late Sommie Maduagwu Demands Investigation into Daughter’s Death, Rejects Suicide Claim

-

The tragic death of Sommie Maduagwu has taken a new turn as her father, Ifeanyi Maduagwu, publicly challenges the circumstances surrounding her passing. In a statement shared on social media by @TrendingEx on October 21, Mr Maduagwu expressed deep scepticism over claims that his daughter jumped from a three-storey building.

“I believe my daughter was killed,” he said. “If you keep Sommie on a table and ask her to jump, she won’t. Talkless [of jumping off a 3-storey building. It doesn’t add up. It’s all lies.”

Mr. Maduagwu’s emotional remarks have sparked public concern and calls for a thorough investigation. He insists that Sommie’s personality and behaviour contradict the narrative of suicide, and he is urging authorities to conduct a factual and transparent inquiry into the incident.

The statement has ignited conversations online, with many Nigerians demanding accountability and clarity. As of now, there has been no official response from law enforcement regarding the case or any confirmation of an investigation.
The Maduagwu family’s plea adds to growing calls for justice in cases involving unexplained deaths, especially among young Nigerians. The public continues to await further developments.
