Gunmen Attack Osokoko–Obajana Road, Travellers Advised to Stay Away

Armed attackers launched a violent assault along the Osokoko–Obajana Road, Kogi State, on Monday afternoon, sparking panic among residents and motorists in the area.

According to eyewitness accounts, sustained gunfire erupted without warning, forcing commuters to flee and take cover. Travellers were urgently advised to avoid the route until security agencies gain control of the situation.

As of press time, security operatives had not yet arrived at the scene, and details about casualties or the scale of the attack remain unclear.
