Hairstylist Grooms Minor With Porn Sites, Sodomises Victim For 2 Years

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a hairstylist for allegedly sodomising a 12-year-old minor in the State.

According to the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bright Edafe, on the 7th of January 2025, at about 7:30 pm, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ogborikoko Division received a complaint from a man (name withheld) of Ogborikoko community, that at about 8:am of 4th January 2024, he received a complaint from his 12-year-old son (name withheld) that their neighbour, one Volte Bale ‘m’ aged 26yrs invited him to his barbing salon, logged into a pornographic website and told him that they should both do what they were watching.

Edafe said: “The suspect then allegedly defiled the 12-year-old boy through his mouth and anus and preliminary investigation also revealed that he has been defiling the victim for the past two years. The suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

Edafe said that in another development, on the 9th of January 2025, a complainant (name withheld) came to the station and reported that his girlfriend deceived him and his sister that their six-week-old child had died but according to the complainant, he suspected foul play.

The DPO Ogborikoko division detailed operatives to investigate.

The suspect, Blessing Kojo Oghenefejiri, 25, was arrested and during the investigation, the suspect confessed that the child did not die but gave the child out to a couple.

Upon further investigation, it revealed that the suspect also deceived another couple and lied to them that she was gang raped by four men and that the child does not have a father. She then gave the baby away.

“All suspects involved have been arrested and an investigation is ongoing,” said Edafe.
