How Son Caused His Father To Be Arrested For Cultism, Possession Of Gun

A young man, identified as Daniel Oliver has unwittingly caused his 42-year-old father, Sunday Oliver, to be arrested for cultism and possession of a gun.

According to a Situation Report sighted by The Eagle Online, the incident was reported by a hunter, who is also Forest Security Service, identified as Asho Peter.

The SITREP stated that on the 24th of September 2024, at about 4:30 pm, Peter reported that on the same date at about 4:pm, he saw one Daniel Oliver with one locally made single barrel gun along African foundry company Ogijo.

They said Daniel was trying to sell the same as a scrap. It was based on this information that detectives swung into action and visited the scene.

While fielding Police interrogation, Daniel claimed that he saw the gun under a chair at home.

Following his claim, his father, Sunday Oliver 42, resides behind 50/50 Hotel Oko-Oba, Ogijo. Was arrested.

Sunday, responding to Police interrogations confessed to being a member of the dreaded Eiye Confraternity.

He also claimed that the said gun was given to him by one Ogbara, who is now at large.

The SITREP further stated: “Investigation has commenced, and effort is on to apprehend the said Ogbara. The suspects and exhibit will be transferred to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department.
