The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bright Edafe, said homicide detectives in the command have arrested one Ozo Uba, who stabbed his wife, Sandra James multiple times, leading to her death.

Edafe, who stated this on his Twitter handle, said: “The suspect, Ozo Uba, husband to one Sandra James, 29, had a quarrel with the wife and allegedly stabbed her multiple times. She later gave up the ghost while receiving treatment at the hospital. The suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.”

Nigerians who are following Edafe on his social media handle have expressed their opinion concerning the matter.

Patrick_Drinks depot@enohpatrick418, said: “This man did almost like this man in Udu Delta State. The woman reported to Udu police and till now police are not doing anything about it and the police take N12,000 from the woman.”

Rayshard Jabari@Rayshardjabari on his part, mocked the Police. He said: “Nawa’o for Nigerian Police, the same knife you carry gives the suspect what if he stabs himself and commits suicide.”

Chad Brume@BrumeChad, stated: “How can you say you love somebody and still stab them? Na wa for this kind love o.”

El jefe@joesleeky, speaking directly to the alleged killer, said: “If na true say you stab and killed your wife, then you deserve everything that’s coming your way. How una take de kill person these days like you’re killing mosquitoes de shock me.”
