The kidnapped wife of the head of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mrs Dandaura Victoria Appollos has been rescued.
The Director of Public Relations of the Corps, DCC Olusola Odumosu, in a press statement, stated that Mrs Dandaura Victoria Appollos was rescued at about 9:20 pm on Friday, 4th of November, 2022, in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
She was kidnapped at her residence Gidi-Gidi, Lafia, Nasarawa State on the 2nd of November 2022 by gunmen.
Odumosu said: “She was rescued unhurt after a successful joint operation by a combined tactical team made up of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Counter Terrorism Operations and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Special Female Squad in collaboration with the Nigerian Army, Department of State Service and the Nigeria Police Force.”
