Lagos Community Speaks Out Against Drunk Trigger-Happy Policemen

Community members Dauda Oseni Street Ilasamaja, have cried out to the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Slyvester Ishola to quickly save to avoid tragedy occurring.

This Save Our Soul (S.O.S) message was shared on social media and unsigned.

According to the missive, a police officer called Baba Favour who lives at No. 5 Dauda Oseni Ilasamaja, usually brings his colleagues, (police officers) to his house.

“He would offer his police friends alcoholic drinks and once they are drunk, they start shooting. They. This happens often but the 17/01/2025 occurrence is so terrible to the extent that both young and old people were running.

“The Policemen keep firing their rifles unmindful of it killing anybody. Please save us from police guns.”
