Man hacks his 70 years old father to death

The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the murder of 70 years old Mr Dorglo Nelson, who was allegedly hacked to death by his 21 years old son, Samson Nelson, in the Abule-Egba area of the state.

According to reports, the suspect’s mother, Helen Nelson, on 23rd of October 2022, at about 5:30 am, went to the police to lodge a complaint that her son, Samson,  on a fateful day at about 3:40am, went into his father’s room and hacked him to death.

The mom explained that Samson used a sharp object to stab his father to death. The reason for Samson killing his father is yet unknown.

The old man was rushed to the hospital but confirmed dead on arrival by a doctor.
