Mayhem in Kogi as gunmen attack Police Team, burn ASP, Constable to death

Personnel of the Nigeria Police Force has been plunged into mourning, following the attack and eventual burning to death of an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mr  Omale Isah, and a Police Constable John Abuh in Lokoja in Kogi State.

According to a police report sighted by securitynewsalert.com, the incident happened on the 21st of December 2022.

The Police Patrol Team, attached to the B Division Felele Lokoja, was said to have been attacked while on patrol duty.

Two policemen, ASP Omale Isah and PC AND PC John Abuh were burnt to ashes, while others sustained injuries.

Following the attack, other police personnel was warned to be vigilant and alert while carrying out their lawful duties. They were also urged to ensure their safety and secure their weapons.
